Click on the title to download and print the template. Than cut it out onto red paper. Use white paper for the eyes, black for the eyebrows and yellow for the beak. Than outline with a permanent marker. Optional: Add a tan paper circle to the bottom of your card before you glue on the beak and cut away excess for the bird's stomach.

Note: I glued a red ribbon around the bottom of the hat. I also folded the sides of the hat towards the middle to get the invitation to fit in the envelopes.
On the back of the hat you can place your words for your birthday party. I put "Let's set sail for a land far away! Where only the pirates can live and play. We'll search for treasure till the end of day. Come and celebrate __________ Birthday!!!
Then I listed the where and when. And RSVP to Captain _______ Mommy @ ( ) -
For the thank you card it read:
Thanks for celebratin' with me on the high seas. And thanks fer the loot - twas kind of ye.

Note: I did not print out the colored eyes, eyebrows and mouth. I traced them, cut them out of card stock and then glued onto my purple backpack after I had printed the words inside.

Then I added all the when, where and RSVP info.
For the thank you card I printed out a picture of Dora and glued it to the front of a white card stock card. On the inside I printed:
The rain tried to keep our fun at bay, but thanks to you it was a very special day!! And I included a personal message from the birthday girl. Our Dora party was rained out and I felt that it was important to bring that element to the thank you because the party had to be moved at the last minute. If you have a special event at your party, mention it in the thank yous. It makes it more personal.
HALLOWEEN MICE TEMPLATE (CLICK HERE FOR PDF FILE)
Cut out of card stock and use painters tape to get it to stick to your walls without leaving any damage. When packing up all Halloween decorations for next year make sure to use wax paper to seperate the mice and store them in an unbendable folder.
